The Wizardz of Oz
The Wizardz of Oz are chart-topping producers based out of Los Angeles, CA.
The Wizardz of Oz began as two struggling artists in Port Douglas Australia, playing live shows, and writing and producing for independent artists, films and television, as well as for advertising.
In 2001 their music caught the ear of producer-manager Sandy Roberton, and he flew them over to Los Angeles to become assistants to production team "The Matrix".
The Wizardz of Oz worked for over a year with the Matrix, learning the skills of successful pop writing, engineering, production, editing, backing vocals, editing and guitar playing, under the guidance of Lauren, Graham and Scott. (see www.worldsend.com)
Whilst working with the Matrix, the Wizardz got to participate on major albums, with artists like Avril Lavigne, Britney Spears, Jason Mraz, Liz Phair, Ricky Martin and others. The Matrix and Sandy Roberton also encouraged the Wizardz to write on their own, signing them to their publishing company "San Grascola LLC" which is now in a co-venture with BMG Publishing Los Angeles
In 2003, the Wizardz branched out on their own, and solidified their relationship with BMG. They went on to work with Charles Fisher on Olivia Newton John, and then began producing on their own.
In January 2005, the Wizardz went it alone as producers after 3 years in the Worldsend family.
In May 2005 The Wizardz joined the Nettwerk Management family, and under the watchful eye of Alia Fahlborg and team, continue to grow and achieve, including a number 1 Christian hit, and a number 1 album in Holland, a top 40 album in Japan and countless songs released around the globe.
